Here is a way to make a sled – and strap – for about $10 in about 5 minutes.

You need:

• A used tire – you can get these from a tire store as they will give them away $0
• A sled strap – all I have been able to find in terms of a strap at the hardware store is a ratchet strap that I cut the end off of (you could buy some rope or webbing and it would be even cheaper) $8
• An eye bolt and nut. $1
• A drill and sharp knife
• Maybe a carabiner and some PVC pipe $6-10
